Progress Combustor Cleaning

Progress Hybrid Combustor Cleaning - The only tools needed are a putty knive and a vacuum or fine bristled brush
First remove the center stone -
Next remove both side stones -
Pull the loose gasket out that is nearest the metal shield. -
Lift out the metal heat shield -
Grab both ends of the combustor and pull the combustor forward to remove. - Please note: A small gasket will come out with the combustor, set it aside for replacement
Notice the fly ash on the combustor -
Vacuum or brush off both sides of the combustor -
After cleaning- hold up the combustor to a light & make sure the cells are clear -
When returning the combustor to the stove flip the combustor to even out the wear -
Find the gasket that came out with the combustor -
Tuck the gasket above and to the sides of the combustor -
Use a putty knife to secure the seal -
Replace the heat shield - The shield will go under the three cast iron tabs
Tuck the loose gasket back in at the front of the shield - This gasket helps hold the shield in place.
Replace the two top side stones -
Replace the center stone and enjoy your stove! -
